Buttons and Beads

A new addiction... covering my own buttons with fabric scraps, both new and vintage...

A selection of buttons from the massive bag of vintage and new buttons I scored for the princely sum of $1... (check out the biggest button at the top there - it scores the 'Ugliest Button of the Year' Award) ...

Felted beads I'm making with the aim of creating a rainbow felted bead necklace for myself...

button covering is madly addictive. you can do so many so quickly! My favourite of these vintage buttons is the polkadot navy one near the front of the photo and I love your felted beads. What a great post all around!

Hi there,
seeing your little blue elephant brought back memories of some of my childhood outfits! Wow, so many outfits I forgot I had. Cheers for that. Quite a nice blast from the past. xo

Love covering buttons. Such a satisfying quick craft fix. The beads are looking great. Can't wait to try it.

I must confess I am a little addicted to covering buttons. It is a great excuse for playing with lots of lovely fabrics.

Knowing how easily things become addictions around here I have yet to start covering buttons. But I don't think I can resist any longer. They are just so darn cute! And the felt beads! Love them xox
